Valhalla 2 Analogue Interconnects
The Valhalla 2 Interconnect consists of 10 conductors made from solid, optimized diameter 99.999999% oxygen free copper, each plated with 85 microns of silver. Its surface is highly polished and treated before a precision Dual Mono-Filament wrap is applied. A precision FEP tube is then extruded over each conductor. The ten FEP tubes are then bonded with a proprietary technique to create a tubular interconnect cable, enclosed in two layers of silver shielding. The V2 interconnect is offered with either RCA or XLR HOLO:PLUG® connectors.
V2 is extremely fast, at over 87% the speed of light. It transmits wide bandwidth signals with incredible speed and minimum phase shift. The V2 cable is state of the art, bettered only by the mighty Odin. It delivers incredible transient response and dynamic resolution so that no musical detail is lost. Each Valhalla 2 interconnect cable is hand built with HOLO:PLUG® RCA phono plugs or HOLO:PLUG® XLR connectors.
Lengths over 2m available: £1,495 per additional 1/2 meter pair

Valhalla 2 - Reference Cables
Valhalla 2 is Nordost’s Reference range of high performance audio cables. These exemplary products benefit from three decades of research and development, resulting in cutting edge production techniques and technological innovations.
Like all Nordost cables, Valhalla 2 starts with a strong foundation: silver-plated, OFC solid core conductors, extruded FEP insulation, a mechanically tuned construction, and asymmetrical grounding. However, that is just the beginning. The advances made from that jumping-point are astounding.
V2 cables use Dual Mono-Filament technology, Nordost’s patented process of separating the conductor from its FEP insulation. During production, each conductor is intricately and uniformly wrapped in a twisted pair of FEP Mono-Filament, before being encased in an extruded layer of high quality FEP. This intricate process allows every conductor to be surrounded by its own air dielectric, which is directly responsible for the dramatic increase of signal speeds and excellent mechanical damping of the cable. This technology, along with innovative, proprietary HOLO:PLUG® connectors, designed to be the best possible interface between the cable and component, propels the capabilities of our reference range to previously unattainable levels.
Analogue Interconnects
Your sound system deserves an audio cable that will allow your hifi components to shine—maximizing signal transmission without the distracting, and often degrading, effects of filtration and tonal enhancements. Nordost produces low-mass interconnects with optimal signal transfer speed and perfect impedance matching, which impart a neutral presence on your system, letting your components perform as they were intended. The defining factor in our signal cables isn’t found in filters, or rare exotic materials, but rather in precise manufacturing techniques and groundbreaking technology. Nordost’s neutral solution to cabling produces the perfect interconnects for any level sound system.

Of all the Valhalla 2s, it was the 1m interconnect with RCAs that had the greatest effect on the sound of my system. It was no surprise that the Valhalla 2s improved the system’s transparence and resolution of detail. Those attributes have long been strong points of Nordost cables, as have the speed and precision with which they reproduce dynamic and tonal transients. Having the Valhalla 2 References in the system made it possible for me to “see,” for the first time, into the soundstage and identify more than just the fronts of the various aural images…
